SIPFlex - Test application for VoIP and IMS

You are here: Homepage » Solutions » SIPFlex - Test application for VoIP and IMS

The SIPFlex application is the industry’s most flexible yet easy to use application designed to provide unprecedented flexibility and comprehensive test capabilities for characterizing VoIP and IMS networks. The application combines flexibility in message and call flow definition, and application creation so as to perform Feature, Negative, Interoperability, Load and Scalability testing using a single test application with no need to perform any scripting.

Some key test capabilities:
  • Simulate and test the following Services/Servers:
    • IMS network Core (P/I/S- CSCF) , VoIP, IP Centrex Services, Third Party Call Control, Conference Services, Voice/Video Media Services
  • Emulate IMS network cloud consisting of several elements in the IMS network for example:
    • UE->PCSCF,UE->PCSCF->ICSCF,UE->PCSCF->ICSCF->SCSCF,UE->PCSCF->ICSCF->SCSCF->IBCF.
  • Perform feature testing - Simulate Class 5 features e.g. Call Hold, Call Forward etc.
  • Create traffic consisting of a mixture of features so as to simulate subscriber behavior.
  • Simulate call completion rates by simulating user response behavior.
  • Define measurement time-intervals within the call flow. Collect and present response latency of the device under test in real-time.
  • Simulate Registration and other message floods using user defined flows, mix of flows and at high rates.
  • Analyze the impact of message floods on call completion rates and network/device response latency.
  • Define ANY SIP message (Valid, Invalid, Proprietary) using a GUI or text-based editor.
  • Intuitive state machine definition using a message ladder diagram.
  • Create any call flow (Valid, Invalid, and Proprietary).
  • Use specification defined or customize protocol behavior.
