 The powerful OC-48c Thunder Series interface module is designed to provide wire rate data capture, playback and transmission, while performing real time simultaneous analysis of the seven OSI layers. This module provides a dual port SC physical interface for SONET OC-48c/SDH STM-16 for the InterWatch™ platform. It operates at 2488.32 Mbps using a 1310 nm single mode optical fibre.

- Physical layer error insertion including APS Generation and analysis of up to 1024 channels on a single port for QoS and GCRA
- 40 ns time stamp resolution and correlation across all ports with 1.2 ns GCRA measurement resolution

- MPEG video and LAN traffic distribution models
