Navtel`s dual port T1/E1 interface is designed to generate, monitor and capture T1 and E1 traffic at wire rate. The module provides 2 software selectable T1/E1 RJ-48 ports [120 ohms] to the InterWatch platform.

Up to 5 TDM modules (10 ports) can be plugged into the InterWatch R14 [96000] unit or 2 TDM modules (4 ports) on an InterWatch M7 (95000). This allows comprehensive system load testing across multiple ports to be performed simultaneously in addition to the extensive monitoring capabilities across multiple signaling links.

Used in conjunction with any of the InterWatch’s packet or cell-based interfaces, the T1/E1 TDM interface is the ideal tool for on-net to off-net and off-net to on-net Next Generation Voice troubleshooting. The InterWatch’s common clock architecture allows advanced users to measure transit delays from TDM to IP, IP to TDM, TDM to ATM and ATM to TDM.

Combining the extensive and extremely powerful capabilities of the InterWatch Performance & Verification System, the modular architecture of this interface provides equipment manufacturers and network operators with a world-class testing solution during the network development and verification process.
