| Navtel, a market leader in high performance test systems for NGN/IMS networks, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager in the Northeast US region. We are seeking a dynamic individual with a proven track record of demonstrating complex test products to network equipment manufacturers and network operators. |

Job Function:
|
|
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for all sales activities in the assigned territory with the objective of achieving growth oriented sales targets. Navtel develops test solutions for some of the hottest technologies in the Telecommunications industry such as NGN, IMS, and VoIP. This position requires an aggressive, dynamic, results oriented candidate with a desire to keep pace with leading edge technologies in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

Job Responsibilities:
|
- Identifying all potential customers within his region
- Penetrate all depts/divisions of these customers
- Correctly qualify all opportunities to maximize sales efficiency
- Identify the future strategy of each customer
- Make initial demonstrations where possible or call in the appropriate support
- Be able to overcome competitors advantages and exploit their weaknesses
- Provide accurate forecasts and keep up-to-date customer records
- Close orders and attain his/her business targets
- Keep abreast of market changes by reading magazines etc and attending training
- Provide marketing feedback on applications and trends in the Market Place

Qualifications:
|
- Knowledge of Tier 1 networking vendors and operators
- Travel is required throughout Territory
- Working knowledge of LAN, WAN, ATM including NGN/IMS and VOIP protocols
- Background in testing of telecommunications equipment
- Knowledge of leading edge applications preferred
- Proven sales track record essential
- Engineering degree appreciated
- Strong Interpersonal and Analytical Skills
- Innovative, Enthusiastic, Team Player
- Good Oral and Written Communication Skills
